The Ghee Roast Dosa is everything a dosa should be - and then some. We start with the same naturally fermented batter we use for our Masala Dosa: rice and urad dal soaked, ground and left to ferment overnight for that subtle tang and lacy finish.
The difference is in the cooking. As the dosa spreads on the hot tava, pure ghee is poured generously around it and across the surface so every part of the dosa is roasted in fat.
